ATLANTA (AP) — Attorney Jenna Ellis has pleaded guilty to a felony charge over efforts to overturn Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss in Georgia and says tearfully she looks back with “deep remorse.”

Ellis is the fourth defendant in the case to enter into a plea deal with prosecutors.

The Florida resident pleaded guilty Tuesday to one felony count of aiding and abetting false statements and writings.

Ellis was a vocal part of Trump’s Republican reelection campaign last presidential cycle.

Ellis was charged alongside Trump and 17 others with violating Georgia’ anti-racketeering law.

Prosecutors say Ellis “intentionally aided and abetted” two other lawyers as they lied to Georgia state senators about voting by felons, children and dead people.
