Murdoch Stepping Down As Fox Chair

(New York, NY) — Fox Corporation and Fox News Chair Rupert Murdoch is stepping down. In a letter to Fox colleagues on Thursday, Murdoch announced he will become Chairman Emeritus for both companies, effective in November. He said the “time is right to take on different roles.” The 92-year-old Murdoch also announced that his son, Lachlan, will take over as chair of Fox Corporation and Fox News.
